Ground too soft

Unfortunately it rained for two days solid before we got to race day for Silverheels in France. The ground at Maisons-Laffitte ended up very heavy and he didn't handle it at all. C. Soumillion, sensibly, gave him a relatively easy time of it during the race beacause of the ground. None of the English horses were in the first 5 home. We are keeping him for next year and hope to pick up a few sprint prizes with him.
