A sad loss

Unfortunately we lost one of our best two year old, Overpowered, in a freak box accident on Saturday. It a sad loss to all concerned, the Lads, Owners and the yard.
Circumvent runs on Saturday at Sandown in the 1m2f Handicap. He finds one mile a little on the short side and he has not been lucky with the draw recently.

Rimth found the 6f and the outside draw against her at Pontefract, she can do better.

Gifted Girl who was so promising at Goodwood is now back in training. She seems well handicapped at 73.

Humungosaur ran well at Newbury but needs another furlong.

Ziefhd ran well at Newbury, it took a while for the penny to drop but she ran on well and may run at Folkestone on Sunday in the maiden fillies race.

The Racing Post headline last week " Who'd be a punter on a day like this", referring to the large number of withdraws that day. But do punters want to back a horse that a trainer does not want to run? They would run them if they thought they would win.

The first four at Kempton were all far eastern owned with Tom, Dick & Harry some way behind, looks like it's the shape of things to come.
