DBS here we come...

Swingland has improved after her Goodwood 4th and is expected to run well today at Goodwood.

Orange Ace runs at Kempton on Wednesday, he is very rusty and will need a race as he hasn't run for a while.

Pearls Of Sydney will need the experience at Salisbury on Thursday in the maiden.

Cheherazad was disappointing at Catterick, S. De Sousa is riding very well but missing the start at Catterick is fatal.

Red Courtier ran another good race at Wolverhampton but he went too wide round all the other runners.

It looks like we are reliying on the two year olds this year, we were delighted with Humungosaur at Deauville, if he had a faster pace he could of been 2nd, but he picked up £18,000 for his 3rd.

Gifted Girl ia back in training after having a break following her Goodwood win.

Ziefhd duly obliged at Folkestone and she is in very good form. She could run well at Kempton this week as the track would suit her better.

Having Spent the last few days in Deauville at the yearling sales, it was very nice that Arqana are making a great effort and the sale was very healthy. At this rate they will provide competition for the other sales companies which is good for everybody. They are backed by healthy racing, lots of prize money and lots of premiums.

By the way, entry to Deauville races is only 2-3 euros! English racing needs to reduce entry fees which are far too high, the other thing that is very noticable in France is the politeness and dedication of French jockeys who always seem to know the form of the horse and learn anything they can about the horse to improve his chances and are most helpful afterwards.
