Lisamour put up a nice performance to come second at Kempton she broke very quick and found herself at the front, the instructions were to sit in third or fourth, its not that she would have won. She ran green and its like she had never run before forgetting the last time where she came 9/10 having missed the kick with the hood on and never faced the kickback. She will now head to Newbury for the 1m 1/4 maiden that Pink Symphony won "The Robert Sangster Memorial". The racing post describes her as "a filly that clearly has a future".

Rush will run again this year, as it's good for the pedigree if she is a two-year-old winner. She will probably run again over six furlongs but she will most definitely get 7f. She should win and improve with age.

The enigma Complicit passed his stools test. We are most sure we have the key to him now. He will go in with a hood on. He has been working very well and could be a nice horse for the future he has a lot of talent if he wins he is sure to be packed up until the big meeting at Lingfield next year the million pound day.

All of our yearlings are sold so we are going to the December yearling sale to buy a couple of more. Berkshire is doing very well and is putting on weight he is still a big baby bouncing and playing at every opportunity, his lad Surrender does very well with him in the box because he will bite at every opportunity "approach with caution".

  1. Just great another horse to look forwar to for nxt year.
Complict was impressive .no idea what his price was in running but was many lenghs back with not long to go to line and went past and cruised over the line.
step up in trip just the ticket an still looks a horse with potential to uncover.
Pivotal Captain Riosire and barathea dam both better as got older
An if that wasnt good 9/2 price seriously how did that happen ,no complaints here.
Thanks for the big word on it ,though seenall his races so knew had been bit unlucky and was a horse of more pontential than showed.
Cheers have a good christmas an heres no nxt year .
things looking up hopefully keep going that way

  2. Complicit was great!! finishing like that-the commentator said that the favourite was cruising clear and going to win a shade cosily when he had to rapidly eat his words as Complicit got up.Why he was 7/4 at 7.30 in the morning I just don't know.Certainly the SP of 9/2 was much better for me.Until I checked the prices a few minutes before the off I was expecting around 2/1 and was so pleasantly suprised. Thanks so much for the word about him as It got me well back in front for the week after I did my boots'n' laces on Elysian Prince a few days before. He even looked like he was going to just get up and pinch it back on the line after his trip-perhaps next time he will run a bit further away from the rails as he was robbed and would have won easily without the stumble.I hope that all at Whatcombe have a good Christmas and Berkshire continues to progress so that he can make a good show in the 2000 Guineas and the Derby-I'm already on e/w at 25's and 20's as well as a greedy double all well and truly covered by his wins this year in the Chesham and Royal Lodge so if he can pull off a victory in either I will be delighted.I am really looking forward to the Flat next year and sincerely hope that it is a repeat of this year for the Whatcombe runners.25 wins from only 165 starts is certainly an achievement many will envy and all done without having to resort to drugging any horses-so it can be done!.
